Fashion doesn't only happen on the runway.
It lives in the street.

An exhibition exploring how fashion transforms once it leaves the runway and enters the rhythm of the city.
Captured during several editions of Copenhagen Fashion Week, the images gathered in this exhibition document street style as a cultural phenomenon — a space where identity, style, and urban context meet.
Within the framework of MBFWM, Madrid hosts this perspective on one of the most influential creative scenes in contemporary fashion.
The idea for this exhibition began with Paloma González, who has been documenting the atmosphere surrounding Copenhagen Fashion Week for several seasons. Beyond the runway shows, her focus turned to the visual language that emerges on the streets during fashion week — where personal style, intuition, and the city itself shape how fashion is interpreted.
To broaden this perspective, Paloma invited Penélope Blas (Blas Studio) to join the project. Bringing together two photographic viewpoints, the exhibition offers a richer and more nuanced look at the streetstyle culture that surrounds Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Why Copenhagen?
And why Madrid?
In recent years, Copenhagen Fashion Week has become one of the most influential platforms in contemporary fashion. Known for its strong focus on sustainability, design, and visual culture, the streets surrounding the shows have become a stage where personal style and creative experimentation take shape.
Today, MBFWM is experiencing a moment of evolution and change. At the same time, the city is becoming increasingly international, attracting creatives and visitors from around the world. This cultural mix is reflected in the streets, where different influences and identities converge, creating a streetstyle landscape that is vibrant, diverse, and constantly evolving.
The Mó Room
Within the exhibition, the Mó Room presents a special series produced during Copenhagen Fashion Week in collaboration with creative profiles aligned with Nordic aesthetics.
This section focuses on the accessory as a defining element within a look, highlighting how subtle details can shape the identity of a silhouette.
